1. Introduction and agreement
SocialIO is a multi-tenant software-as-a-service platform for social media management and website creation/management, available primarily at socialio.org. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form an agreement between you (an individual or the organization you represent) and the SocialIO operator identified in the Legal Center when configured.
If you use SocialIO on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization.
2. Eligibility
You may use SocialIO only if you have legal capacity to enter a binding contract under applicable law. We do not knowingly offer the service for use by children in a manner that would violate applicable child-protection or platform rules. Exact minimum-age rules may be published by the operator when finalized.
3. Accounts and registration
You agree to provide accurate registration information and keep it updated.
You are responsible for safeguarding credentials used to access your account and for activity occurring under your account credentials, except to the extent caused by SocialIO’s failure to provide reasonable safeguards.
Notify the operator promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. SocialIO may require verification steps before making account or security changes.
4. Business and team accounts
Organization owners may invite users, assign access, and manage connected channels subject to plan limits and product features. The organization is responsible for its authorized users’ use of SocialIO, subject to applicable law and SocialIO’s own responsibilities under these Terms.
5. Plans, Free plans, billing, and cancellation
SocialIO offers Free and paid plans with different limits (for example social account limits, AI quotas, storage, and feature gates). Plan-specific allowances are those shown in the product UI and order/checkout flow at the time of purchase or signup. Features and limits may change; Free plan availability is not guaranteed forever.
Current commercial billing mode is assisted: paid activation generally requires a verified successful payment transaction; SocialIO does not claim an automatic recurring card-charging engine in this phase. Renewal, plan changes, and cancellation follow the controls available in your account and any operator-assisted process.
Taxes may apply based on your location and applicable law. Failed payments may delay or prevent activation or continued paid access.
Refunds: No automatic refund engine is operated in the current assisted billing mode. Refund or credit requests are handled by the operator under applicable law and any published refund practice. Mandatory consumer rights are not waived.
Cancellation may be available as period-end cancellation, withdrawal before effective date, or administrative cancellation, as implemented in the product. Cancellation does not by itself delete all historical records that must be retained for legal, security, or accounting reasons.
7. User content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of content you submit to SocialIO (text, images, video, logos, website content, and similar). You grant SocialIO a limited license to host, store, process, format, display, transmit, and publish that content solely as needed to operate and improve the service you request, consistent with our Privacy Policy and applicable law. We do not claim ownership of your content or brand.
You represent that you have rights needed to use and publish the content you upload, including third-party materials, music, trademarks, and likenesses.
SocialIO software, UI, design system, documentation, logos, and trademarks remain owned by the SocialIO operator and its licensors. Feedback you voluntarily submit about the product may be used to improve SocialIO without royalty to you, without claiming ownership of your confidential customer content.
8. AI features
Where enabled by your plan, SocialIO may offer AI-assisted generation. Prompts and related context may be sent to configured third-party AI providers to produce outputs. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or similar to other material, and may require human review. You are responsible for reviewing content before publishing.
SocialIO does not promise uniqueness or copyrightability of AI output. Do not rely on SocialIO AI as a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, or other high-stakes advice.
9. Website builder, hosting, and domains
SocialIO may provide website generation and hosting features, including platform
subdomains such as . The subdomain remains
part of SocialIO infrastructure; you receive usage rights while your account
remains eligible. You do not own the socialio.org domain.
SocialIO may block, suspend, or reclaim a subdomain for violation of these Terms, infringement, impersonation, security risk, reserved names, or legal requirements. Naming availability follows first-valid-claim and platform rules, subject to reserved names and abuse handling.
Where custom domains are offered, you are responsible for ownership and DNS rights. Custom domains are not advertised here as generally available unless enabled for your workspace.
You are responsible for website content, business claims, products/services represented, customer-facing legal notices, cookies/tracking you add, and contact-form content. Your website may need its own privacy notice and terms; SocialIO’s Legal Center does not automatically satisfy those obligations for your visitors.
10. Acceptable use and prohibited content
You may not use SocialIO to:
- violate law or third-party rights;
- engage in fraud, malware distribution, credential theft, or unauthorized access;
- spam or abusive automation;
- impersonate others or infringe intellectual property;
- harass, threaten, or exploit others, including sexual exploitation of minors;
- promote unlawful extremist or terrorist activity;
- circumvent platform security, rate limits, or access controls;
- scrape or access systems without authorization; or
- violate privacy or publish unlawful personal data.
11. Service changes and availability
SocialIO may modify features, and may experience maintenance, provider outages, infrastructure failure, force majeure, or security actions. No specific uptime percentage is promised unless a separate written SLA exists. Enterprise SLAs, if any, are contracted separately.
Beta or experimental features may change and carry additional risk.
12. Suspension, termination, and deletion
SocialIO may suspend access for security threats, fraud, legal requirements, serious Terms violations, non-payment where applicable, or abuse affecting the service or connected platforms. Where reasonably possible we provide notice; emergency or security exceptions may apply without prior notice.
You may cancel according to product controls. On termination or cancellation, access to workspaces, connected channels, hosted websites, and subdomains may end. Data deletion requests are handled as described in the Privacy Policy and Data Deletion instructions, subject to legal retention.
13. Disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SocialIO is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties not required by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SocialIO and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; lost profits, revenue, goodwill, or data; third-party platform actions; customer-published content; or provider outages — whether based in contract, tort, or otherwise — even if advised of the possibility.
A specific monetary liability cap has not been published by the operator. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including certain consumer rights).
You will defend and indemnify the SocialIO operator against third-party claims arising from your content, your violation of law, IP infringement in materials you submit, misuse of connected accounts, or breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law and except to the extent caused by SocialIO’s willful misconduct or gross negligence.
14. Governing law and disputes
Governing law and dispute forum are not yet configured by the SocialIO operator and therefore are not stated here. Mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the product or other reasonable means. The effective date and version on this page identify the current published version. Continued use after reasonable notice of material changes constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law; where re-acceptance is required, SocialIO may prompt for it.
Contact
A monitored legal/privacy email is not yet configured by the operator. Authenticated customers may submit a data deletion request at /data-deletion while signed in. Other legal requests should use the support channel published by the SocialIO operator once available.
6. Social media connections and third-party platforms
SocialIO can connect to independent third-party services such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other configured providers. Those platforms are not operated by SocialIO. Your use of them remains subject to their terms and policies. SocialIO is not affiliated with or endorsed by those platforms unless expressly stated by them.
Connecting an account uses OAuth (or similar) and grants SocialIO permissions you approve. You authorize SocialIO to act on your instructions using those permissions (for example publishing, scheduling, or retrieving allowed status or insights where enabled).
Third parties may change APIs, permissions, rate limits, revoke tokens, restrict accounts, or remove features. SocialIO cannot guarantee continued API availability, platform approval, uninterrupted permissions, or successful delivery when a provider rejects or restricts content.
Delivery statuses in SocialIO reflect our best available understanding of provider responses and may not be real-time or complete.
